Still Thinking of those on the east coast, lots of clean up to do! Stay Strong, what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.
Can’t wait for elections to be over, get back to running our country instead of trying to sell it.

Had a great time in Retreat, WI last night. Hats off to Jeff Parr and the gang, my first time there was a lot of fun. Thanks for having our class.

Last pull of the year I think in our area, just wanna have fun one more time…………………..
I hate to admit it, caught lots of stares last night when people say my dad and I on IH 1206 in Viola, WI. To few the proud the orange fans, I am sorry….but I purchased an IH 1206 Hot Farm, here is a picture of me in my Blackjack sweatshirt talking to my dad last night before he pulled my tractor. I have a great friend Brent Gaffney, him and I have been talking about getting a tractor….well we found this one and bought it, too much travel time getting to Iowa to run with Blackjack. I still love the orange, will have to get some new t shirts made with both tractors on them. Brent and I will run the Hot Farm tractor with Badger State and Tri State. I have some videos from last night on you tube and facebook, everyone enjoy the winter, see you soon!

Beautiful day, really good track, one of the better biting tracks we have pulled on this year. Pull is put on by the American Legion in Kendall.
Binder Express-Schulte’s won both Super Farm Hooks-think we had 5 Super Farms in each class. We changed the pulling order around so some of the guys could go to Ridgeland. Ryan Preuss drove the Buck’s Fever tractor for the first time, did really well think he went 312 and I think Schulte won at 318.
4×4 SS Trucks-10 in each class Jodie Brogley won the first hook and Eric Egge with the Yank Me Crank me won the 2nd Hook. I specifically remember Kevin Frana making a really nice pass with Live Wire in the 2nd Class.
V8 Mod-Fortney/Dirt Devil won the first Hook, not sure how they finished up in the second class.
466 Pro Farm-Mike Rynes Never Enough won at 339, Joe Culpit was second at 325, Mike had a perfect pass, 2nd Hook was won by Ploetz/Big One JD, think he beat Collin Burkholz by a few feet. Good numbers in the 466 Pro Farm class I would say we had 9 or 10 in each class.
Super Pro-Bob Gansmer went 364, Don Van Dyne-brand new 3 charger diesel went 337, sounded good. Dave Hovden Ol Woody was 324, Digger Pro was 301 and Matt Blasberg Lim Pro tractor was at 294, got sucked off to the side in the softer stuff, down the middle was the place to go.
2wd Mod-Rod Brogley won the first hook. Highlight of my day, Lonnie and Joanie Thill let me drive their Non Prophet truck, we had 5 in the class, I was 4th hook, Jim Flynn Bad Bowtie was first hook went like 332 I think, Lonnie turned look at me and said, that one is going to be tuff to beat. I ended up in 4th at 317, I opened it a touch bit too fast, as Lonnie said not as smooth as a hole shot as Jodie Brogley had (she drove it in the first class and got second, so now she is going to pick on me for that) but driving it was a alot of fun, and I can’t thank Lonnie and Joanie enough. Great weekend of pulling was in Baraboo Fri and Sat night for Badger State as well.
Final Tri State Hooks this year are Granton, WI this Friday Sept 7th and then Mabel, MN on Sat Sept 8th. Blackjack my Dad’s Diesel Super might make it’s first appearance in Mabel, MN all depends if he is picking corn or not.
This week we have the Richland County Fair in town I am help running the truck and car drags on Thursday night and then we have our Fair pull Friday night starting at 630 pm, here is the link to our events and then after the fair I need to finalize the pulling classes for our brush pull in Richland Center as part of our Hybrid Redneck Rally Oct 13th.Hybrid Redneck Website

2 Things that jump out at me right away: I am very impressed with the X Factor Sled and Donny Bauer I believe was his name sled operator, and Brandi Meier driving their tractor Double Trouble won the second class of 466 Pro Farm (Hot Farms) last night 12 in the class and she took the gold medal. Good Job Brandi
Good pull, Nice track, Lancaster is a race track, but not used every week like some race tracks that we have pulls at. Loose the first couple classes, but really turned into a good biting track when the sun went down.
Pro Farm 466 First Hook-13 in each class-Mike Rynes Never Enuff won by 3 feet over Doug Birkholz, I think 466 Express John Meier JR was third, and Code Red and Double Trouble tied for 4th. Second Hook Brandi Meier won at 352, Dave Baker was Second at 351, three or 4 other tractors in the 340’s.
V8 Mod-Tom Brown took the first hook and Jeff Fortney and the Dirt Devil took the second hook win. Jim McDonald had some mechanical problems and was unable to hook.
4×4 SS Trucks-great numbers think we had 11 in each class very competitive. Dick Howarth Super Bad from Elkhorn first hook turned down 302, every other truck was in the 290’s, Dan Louis with the Blue Smoothie from Spring Green, WI (great name for a truck, especially when half the crowd holds up their Busch Light when you say Blue Smoothie) was the second to last hook, beat Super Bads’ first hook by one inch, then Super Bad came back and went 310, great class.
Second Hooks of 4×4 Trucks was won by Jodie Brogley and Gearing up she was flying, great hook, great pass. Again all the trucks were within 10 feet of each other.
Super Farm Hook 1-7 in the class Gary Schulte Binder Express first hook went 316 kept the hook, Denny Schaller Sugar Bush took second he was tenth of an inch behind. Second Hook Gary Schulte was first hook again went 320, Denny Schaller went 318, Rumor has it went 316 then the hometown boy Jeff Bahl and the Doctor went 322, picture perfect pass, front end came up a little in the beginning and then set down nicely, and 100 feet I knew he had a chance as he hooked up really nice. I like it when the hometown people do well at their hometown pull.
2wd Mod-Great class, crowd loves them-Rod Brogley won both hooks, all the distances were really close a couple feet between first and second. Scott Jensen from Dell Rapids, SD with the Ethanol Express pulled last night, naturally aspirated truck so he can run a bigger motor, I think it is 1942 Dodge COE body on it, really cool looking truck, ran well. Thanks to Scott for bringing the truck, heard he was going to Caledonia, MN tonight.
I encourage all promoters or pulling associations that don’t have one to get a t shirt launcher like Tri States. They shoot shirts into the crowd at every event, the crowd loves it. Great way to promote your clubs or events. Last night they were shooting Tri State, Memory Maker Adrian and Brogley-Gearing up shirts into the crowd.
I am announcing in Sauk Prairie tonight for Badger State that pull starts at 7pm, Tri State is in Caledonia, MN tonight that starts at 6pm, I think Caledonia has a farm pull on Sunday.
See you soon
